Today Hakone is one of the most famed tourist spots in Japan, thronged with tourists. But it's not famous that there is a quiet old road dating as far back as 800 years ago. There are two foot paths; one was built in/before Kamakura era, one was built in Edo era. For this tour, climb up the Edo road paved with stones, then go down the Middle Age path.
